Testimonials

From our Poipoia Data Apprenticeship Courses

"The course related to my work "

The entire course related to my work in one way or the other and I am able to apply the learnings both at work and home. Definitely a positive outcome that has reduced my work significantly especially with the writing skills gained.

5/5

"Plenty of key learnings"

My key learnings and takeaways from this apprenticeship have been the Mana-enhancing practice, consolidating Te Tiriti o Waitangi learnings and how it relates to data and Māori data sovereignty, writing like a reader and foundational skills and knowledge in Power BI

5/5

"Māori Data Ownership"

One of the most impactful experiences in the program was delving deeper into the Treaty of Waitangi. This exploration provided a thorough understanding of its impacts over the past 200 years and emphasised the significance of Māori data ownership in today’s society

5/5

"Highly Recommended"

I would highly recommend the program because it not only equips participants with essential data analytics skills but also fosters a deep understanding of Māori data sovereignty and Te Tiriti, making it highly relevant and impactful for those working within or alongside Māori communities, or like myself, working within a Māori / Iwi Organisation
